The Design Against Fur Fashion 2014 competition is now open for registration to UK students and recent graduates. Respect for Animals invites all students to take part in this fashion competition.
The aims of the competition are to emphasise the positive aspects of non-fur ‘fabrics’ in fashion and incorporating an anti-fur message into your design or video, showing that killing animals for their fur is wrong and cruel.
Entrants are invited to enter their fur-free fashion designs and videos for a chance to win cash prizes and help promote the ethical and environmental benefits of being fur-free.
Your work will be evaluated by fashion experts and leaders, and potentially used in national and international campaigns to end the cruel fur trade.
Whether you are entering the T-shirt, Garment Design or Video section of the competition, DAFF want you to create an innovative piece of work which showcases a clear message that the wearing of fur is cruel and unnecessary. How you do it is up to you.
Make sure you register before the registration deadline passes, which is Sunday 20th April 2014.
