Posted by Marc | 25-10-2009 22:21 | Category: Activism

10 tactics for turning information into action shows how rights advocates around the world have used the internet and digital technologies to create positive change. The 50 minute film will be launched at the Front Line Club in London, in December 2009 with a series of screenings worldwide. It is accompanied with a deck of cards featuring tools, tips and advice to help you plan your Info-activism action. The 10 Tactics project website will be launched in November.

This is a wonderful example of how digital media is being used to make the world a better place.  In a landscape being flooded with more and more content (granted, there is a lot of really innovative content being created at the moment with [in most cases] branded utility) it’s nice to see a digital initiative dedicated to the greater good.

I’ve posted more about this initiative here: http://bit.ly/4AXThZ

Cheers,

This is a great post about how information is helping activist work within their cause. If you visit Thinkhaus’ blog http://blog.thinkhausdesign.com you will see our own thoughts about Information Activism.
