15 millions trees

clickarvore, 6 anos

Another ad from one of my favorite organisations when it’s about advertising: Fundação SOS Mata Atlântica.
Copy: Clickarvore, 6 anos. Mais de 15 milhões de mudas plantadas.
Six years of Click-árvore. More than 15 millions trees planted.

Leonardo from Brazil helped me out with this (thanks): Click arvore is a campaign of SOS Mata Atlantica with some big companies from Brasil, as Editora Abril. The name of the campaign is self explanatoy: for each click that you do (after register yourself on the site for free) at the PLANTAR link, the companies donate one tree to be planted.

SOS Mata Atlantica is a non-governmental organisation and their main objective is to preserve the rest of mata atlantica and value the culture identities of human communities that inhabit that region (natives).
The region Mata Atlantica does not have nothing in commom with the Amazon forest. The Amazon forest is situated near the equator line, is very big and many wood industries are situated there. Mata Atlantica has the biggest biodiversity however, more than 90% of the original forest was already cut. It’s situated on the south east of brazil.

Making A Do-Ference at The Design Ethos Conference 2012
