A message from the Scottish Seas

The Scottish government is creating a network of protected areas for Scotlands marine life… But Whales, Dolphins and Porpoises are not invited to the party.

The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society (WDCS) started a campaign this week and ask the public to sign their petition:
“Dear Mr Lochhead, I ask you to ensure a world-class network of marine protected areas is delivered in 2012 which includes protected areas for Scotland’s whales, dolphins and porpoises.”
(Richard Lochhead is the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and Environment)
