The use of flags as visuals have been a bit overused now, but this new campaign from Amnesty International is fresh on the execution side.

"Fresh on the execution side”? For Amnesty International? I presume that pun was intended.
Interesting development. I used to work at Amnesty International UK (over 10 years ago) and there was a policy of not using national flags in illustrations to support AI’s campaigns. Something to do with respect due to a national institution , although I don’t recall the precise reason. Looks like that policy has changed. Anyone know when and why?
