Another Julyna passed, another bush amassed

We somehow missed Julyna this year, even though we covered their “female Movember” movement last year.

In basic terms, Julyna is a Toronto-based cause that asks women to “spend the month of July exercising creativity and personal wellness by choosing a style for their hair down there and sticking to it” to raise funds and awareness for cervical cancer prevention.

This year, they got some professional marketing help from agency sponsor Cossette, Canada, who produced a series of cheeky and low-budget ads.

Here’s one:

They say that pubic hair is making a comeback, so perhaps next year will be the summer when Julyna reaches critical mass.
