Astoria Scum River Bridge

A leaky pipe in Astoria turned into a uncomfortable and even dangerous sidewalk. Jason Eppink and Posterchild decided to take the matter in their own hands and build the Astoria Scum River Bridge with recycled materials and installed it last December.

A few weeks later the effort paid back, with NYC Council and Amtrak repairing the pipe and restoring a friendlier sidewalk.

The bridge was de-installed on March 20th, 2010.
