Today, Dec 10th, the International Day of Human Rights, the Dutch department of Amnesty International is starting a cross media campaign entitled “Kom in actie” (take action). The eyecatcher of the campaign is the Kom in actie-website where visitors can participate in a virtual demonstration for human rights.

At the website you’ll find a virtual square where you can add your own avatar to show your involvement. Goal is to get specific attention for five victims of human rights violations on the international Human Rights Day.
Amnesty choose these five victims as a example for different countries which are violating human rights.
More information about the history of the International Day of Human Rights at Wikipedia and the United Nations website.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is available in over 360 languages and is the most translated document in the world.
