[Sarcasm mode]

Of course China is bad - they have canceled slavery in Tibet, have given land to peasants, have built hospitals, schools, libraries. It’s not democratic action. The real democracy is droping bombs on cities, as US does.

Thanks Russian friends for the high standard of the discussion. And for everybody who is shouting that this is all US propaganda: look around, open your eyes and explore all the ads about protests against the US governement. Or against Latin-American governements etc.

Posted by Marc | 16-04-2008 21:04

Yeah open your eyes, US changing govs all around the world and u dont see this

Posted by Kapit | 16-04-2008 23:22

Slovaks, poor slovaks.
There’re such idiots in your country, who make posters like these…
Maybe this is good reason to ask american congress for some new financial subsidies, but think ‘bout your immortal soul.

Great campaign, but It is difficult for us to have an objective point of view on China. This is a very different culture where the average salary is around 100 €. Ok Human rights are not always respected but I do not like how occidental countries try to give lessons. However I found many print ads from Amnesty International in the following website: http://www.lapubquetuveux.fr/amnestyinternational.html
Go and have a look http://www.lapubquetuveux.fr gathers thousands of print campaigns...great job

I don’t really believe someone would produce such crap. And don’t really understand Slovakian relation to Tibet or China, if I’m correct there is Hell of a distance between them. Go make posters about poor iraqians, and how bad they lived with Saddam, just omit the facts, that after the american invasion overall education level in Iraq decreased to 10-11% of 1980’s, number of lethal cancer types increased slightly, more than 7 times of 198*, and that, well, YOU FUCKING BASTARDS ARE ERRADICATING A NATION! America is responsible for Iraqian Genocide.

Hey Marc,
Although some of the insults are hilariously translated ("How much sh*t in your heads, fellows! “), you should really consider moderating comments.  I’ve been reading your blog at work because I work in social marketing, but I can’t be loading pages full of profanity.
Cheers,
Sue
