Billboards want to free Arizona from religion
Posted by Tom Megginson | 10-11-2011 22:29 | Category: ReligionThese pro-atheism billboards are appearing around Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona, to “educate the public on matters relating to nontheism, and to promote the constitutional principle of separation between church and state”. Clearly a response to the Tea Party‘s rise among the religious right in that state.
I’m not sure that the hipster atheist couple, above, are the best spokepeople to break through to the salt of the earth. But you can see several examples of the movement’s diversity after the break.
I just want to say this: Just because you don’t believe in god doesn’t mean that you have to lose faith in the principles of good art direction.
