Boobie Knights

Last Year, MTV Canada VJ Aliya Jasmine Sovani raised some eyebrows (et cetera) by harnessing the power of her breasts to promote Boobyball, a charity event for Rethink Breast Cancer. The video quickly went global, and inflamed the debate about the sexualization of breast cancer PSAs.

This year, Boobyball has taken a different approach. It’s still about sex, but it’s funny rather than hot:

This year’s event has a 1970s disco theme, so the vintage porn satire (Boogie Nights) is both refreshing and appropriate. The bad edits and double-entendres are a much less guilty pleasure, when thinking about the serious issue behind them.
