New tv-spot from the Toronto Crime Stoppers. To educate and motivate more people to call Toronto Crime Stoppers with information about neighborhood crime, the campaign promotes the fact that tipsters remain 100 per cent anonymous.
“Our challenge has always been to get people to call the Crime Stoppers’ tip line when they have information about a crime or a criminal,” says Lorne Simon, chair of Toronto Crime Stoppers. “Our new campaign strongly makes the point that crimes don’t solve themselves, and leaves you with a call to action. Most importantly, it also says every call is anonymous. We know anonymity empowers people to assist in reducing crime and helping the community.”
Other components of the campaign will be launched in the city throughout 2007 and it will eventually include print, outdoor, radio and on-line.
