I’m sure all the Jews, Poles, Armenians, Russians, Cambodians, Chinese, etc were much safer after their governments took away their guns. Oh wait, those people were killed by their governments after being disarmed. 168 Million people were killed by their own governments in the 20th century; almost all were disarmed first.
Taking away weapons DOESN’T make the world safer except for certain social classes, namely the people taking away the guns.
