“Finning” Mailer

A brilliant Direct Mailer idea. It clearly shows the effect of “finning”—the removal and retention of shark fins and the discard at sea of the carcass. Unable to swim, the shark slowly sinks toward the bottom where it is eaten alive by other fish. The DM is interactive and very powerful.

Dear all,

For your information, the creation “SharkProject” by Young & Rubicam Franckfort, uploaded on your blog, is a pure copy of our creation shortlisted at Cannes Lion International Advertising Festival in 2007. By the way, it was the only french promo creation shortlisted in 2007.

@Schizo Team Wow it’s not a pure copy but the idea is stolen. Shame on Y&R;. How about submitting some of your new work on Osocio?

Making A Do-Ference at The Design Ethos Conference 2012

I recently had the privilege of being invited to speak and participate in the 2012 Design Ethos Conference/Do-ference at Savannah College of Art and Design.
