Today CLM BBDO sent this ad from France and I got a big ‘wow’ on my face. This is confrontating and it will fill the comments here. Although many people won’t appreciate this ad I seldom saw such a direct and clear message.
The ad is from Fondation Nicolas Hulot, a French organisation raised by mr Nicolas Hulot. The engagement of the organisation is a educational, scientific and cultural approach to environemental issues. This year Nicolas Hulot is going in to politics by participating the elections in France.
The Fondation Nicolas Hulot didn’t want to publish this ad, thinking it was too shocking. As Nicolas Hulot was getting more and more involved in politics, his staff thought it was impossible to launch such an agressive campaign. They decided to do it anyway when CLM BBDO was contacted by an other ecological organization who wanted to make it the key visual of a corporate campaign.
