Posted by Tom Megginson | 14-05-2011 18:43 | Category: Animal rightsIn her role as Betty Draper (now Betty Francis) on Mad Men, January Jones spends a lot of time around predatory characters.
In real life, though, Ms. Jones is an ocean life activist and spokesperson for Oceana. And she spent some of her downtime between TV seasons swimming with the decidedly-non predatory whale shark.

Not an exciting PSA, but it’s nice to see such a beloved celebrity doing more than just loaning their name, voice, or 30 seconds of backstage time to a cause. January literally got immersed in this one.
