Hold before crash, not only slow down! - Halt bevor’s knallt, bremsen Sie nicht nur ab!

Each year over 300 children in Switzerland have accidents on the way to the school, on a school day so more than one child. Even though the number of accidents decreases continuously, the TCS (Touring Club Schweiz - Touring Club of Switzerland) sets a new campaign committed to the safety of children in traffic.

This campaign led by TCS is carried out together with the bfu – Swiss Council for Accident Preventionl and the police, and has two goals: The road users should especially when starting school draw attention to the children and to induce them to stop the vehicle completely if children cross a road.

For a better visualization TCS (Touring Club Schweiz - Touring Club of Switzerland) has developed a concept that draws on toys-Motive: The imagery refers to the environment of Playmobil and awakes the memories of their own childhood and their first steps on the road.

The creative visual presentation shows a girl in a Playmobil world ... With hundreds of figurines several consecutive scenes are shown: The accident, the ride in the ambulance and the hospital. On this tragic outcome follows a sequence with the same girl, who after the accident is starting to school again but with an happy end.
The TV spot was produced and directed by Silvio Helbig. The song “Santa Monica Dream” comes from the Australian artists Angus & Julia Stone.
