How far would you walk to find clean drinking water?

This social experiment is confrontational without being shocking and it brings the cause about water, sanitation and hygiene to the streets of England. It is about the lack of clean drinking water for 2.4 million children in Somalia. Kindvertising and Reelmedia Film made this production for UNICEF.

Passers are asked to finish the same distance on a treadmill similar to the daily reality in Somalia. A difficult task for many. And if the water does not appear to be clean, would you drink it? The passers in this video have a choice. The children in Somalia don’t.

This video is made for World Water Week, the annual focal point for the globe’s water issues. The UNICEF statement: Water is a right, not a privilege.
