hurrah it's not a girl

In China every day little girls and disabled boys are laid as foudling, because traditionally more value is been attached to a healthy son.
The parents didn’t have because of poverty enough money for the daily care, not at all for expensive operations like a hare-lip.

Little girls can’t continue the family name and can’t work on the country for their parents to make a living when the are old.
This campaign is from the Dutch ’Wereldkinderen‘ (children of the world).
The ad says: Hoera geen meisje.
Hurrah it’s not a girl.

‘Wereldkinderen’ is looking for families who wants to adopt a child.
