I posted about Peace One Day here on Osocio.
The Thunderclap is also asking participants to sport a pretty cool PEACE badge on their Facebook and Twitter Avatars.  Here’s mine @peaceforsale

Interpeace is an independent, international peacebuilding organization and strategic partner of the United Nations.  Created by the United Nations in 1994, it has since become an independent organization (2000) meanwhile maintaining a unique partnership with the UN and operating either as an independent NGO or as a UN initiative.  As a leader in the NGO Coalition for Peace One Day 2012, Interpeace is taking some great initiative to spread the word for the Global Campaign.

Be sure to see the great video after the break.

Over 200 and counting non-governement organizations along with InterPeace have pledged to amplify and augment their collective voices for peace. On Friday the 21st of September 2012 InterPeace will join over a million people all over the world calling for global ceasefire and nonviolence.
