Is the end of poverty in sight?

Spend five minutes on social media and you’ll convince yourself the world is going backwards and downwards, and that progress is a myth. But elsewhere in the world there’s a new degree of optimism driven by the SDGs and the involvement of business, NGOs and politicians in meeting them. This new campaign from Oxfam UK and Y&R seeks to capture that.

For me, it speaks too much to the head and not enough to the heart, but it’s brave stuff and will no doubt win awards (a visit to Y&R’s site will remind you exactly what their priorities are).
