“Look around you. 1 in 5 people will struggle with mental illness at sometime in their life, and almost everyone will be affected by it.
So what can you do?”

The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA/Alberta regions) is educating the public on how common mental illness is. 1 in 5 people will be affected by it. In this campaign they want to fight the negative stigma associated with it.
Agency MacLaren McCann Calgary thought that the ‘1 in 5’ stat sounded like gambling odds, and since anyone could suddenly be affected by it, it was kind of like a lottery. Thousands of tickets were left in office buildings, food courts & shopping malls for people to find, scratch & learn.

The tickets shows the web address mymentalhealth.ca, which shows the readers 5 steps to better mental health.

The website also include two tv-ads and two radio-ads: If you have a brain, you could experience a mental illness. Watch the television spots for details.
