Pussy Riot Pinterest Pins Amnesty International

It takes some searching but you will find really interesting stuff besides cupcakes, handbags and shiny people on Pinterest.
Like the pins from Amnesty International UK. They made a board about Pussy Riot.
Today they pinned some pictures of Belfast’s best-known statues to stage a virtual demonstration in solidarity with jailed punk group Pussy Riot.

I’m curious how many non-profits already use pins in their communication strategy. And how many of them described Pinterest in their strategy documents. And the effectiveness of course.
BTW we’re on Pinterest too.
