QR Woodfinder for Treehuggers

Another great idea using a QR code. The Belgium Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) worked together with retailer Casa and put a QR code to every wooden product in their stores.
Scanning the code with your smartphone gives you information about which forest the wood is coming from and therefore which forest you are going to save.
FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. The Belgium campaign website is named red-een-woud.be (save a forest).
