Let’s brake capitalism, think more of your real needs

It’s one thing to advocate for “sticking with what you got” and recognizing your needs versus your wants, but does this message outweigh the means by which it is achieved? In the original Macbook Air ad, to start, there is no subliminal messaging. But, why even target Mac? What about the greedy, fuel-consuming vehicles that people so adamently continue to buy, despite escalating gas prices? What about the grotesque amount of packaging used for even the tiniest purchase? Think about what you need, think about how you’re getting it and then think about how you can go about achieving for “need” with minimal negative impact to our world.
