Texting through the years

Good video from a campaign from SAAQ (Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec). Almost entirely visual. As the Denver Egotist headlined: “You don’t need to know French to get this PSA”.
The ad illustrates how quickly an accident can happen when a driver’s attention is diverted by a demanding task such as texting.
The campaign runs from September 30 to October 28, 2012 and targets all drivers, but especially those under age 35.
A mobile application has also been developed to block incoming calls and text messages when people drive.
“We didn’t use to write messages while driving. There must have been a good reason.”
