The Cigarette Is Dead. This simple message is the proclamation of a new social movement, born in Colorado USA:
“When was the cigarette dead to you? Did you quit? Did a friend quit? Did someone you love get sick? Or die? Did you decide never to start in the first place? Your story matters. Tell it. Your moment could inspire others to quit. So declare it. The Cigarette Is Dead.”

Read on.

The Cigarette Is Dead is the new campaign from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment made by agency Cactus.
The new social movement have two basecamps. On thecigaretteisdead.com people can share their quitting moments, as well as personal stories about when the cigarette was dead to them. The other basecamp is the dedicated blog with a lot of campaign material like stencils for you to spread the message.
