Greenpeace Africa: Voix de la Forê, The Voices of the Forest

Great song from Greenpeace Africa. Voix de la Forêt (The Voices of the Forest)  is performed by 11 singers from the Congo Basin countries. The area is one of the most important earth’s lungs.
It began in 2011 as a call to the youth to speak out for the protection of their forests.
Men, women and children from Kinshasa city and surroundings took part in the filming of the video for song whose lyrics come from a selection of poems written by young people during our Future of the Forests in Poetry competition.
