Why let drink decide?

Posted by Armando Alves | 18-01-2010 19:46 | Category: Health

Aiming to influence the behavior of children and their parents about alcohol, the DCSF (Department for Children, Schools & Families) is launching their first advertising campaign, complement existing Department of Health and Home Office alcohol campaigns.
Created by W+K London, the purpose of the DCSF is to make England the best place in the world for children and young people to grow up, reinforcing the Youth Action Plan in England and a national conscience for a safe and sensible relationship with alcohol.

The TV commercial highlights the need to address the alcohol issue before teenage years. Because, “the sooner we talk to our kids about alcohol, the less chance that drink will start making decisions for them. Why let drink decide?”

Also part of the campaign is the website at http://www.direct.gov.uk/whyletdrinkdecide.
