Papier pour tous: Je ne m’appelle pas Azzi

This is the first campaign in Morocco which is about discrimination against sub-Saharan migrants in the country. It was launched on the international day against the racism, March 21, and it will run until June 20.
It is a campaign from ‘Paper for all’ (Papier pour tous), a collective of 11 organisations.

It is a simple and clear print campaign showing a sub-Saharan man with the text “Je ne m’appelle pas Azzi” (My name isn’t Azzi). Azzi is a pejorative term for a black man.

Younes Foudil from Papiers pour Tous: The main aim of the campaign is to reach intellectuals and media. Those are the ones that should spread the message.

In addition to the print campaign, there is also a petition started at Avaaz.
