Giving cancer the bum’s rush

The Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada is asking men and women to get their butts online to raise awareness about the need for colon cancer screening:

The campaign site, getyourbuttseen.ca, invites users to photograph or scan their own bums, or else choose from a selection of stock asses. They can then share their assets by e-mail or Facebook.

The campaign will peak on March 31, when Facebook fans are asked to participate in the cheekiest profile meme of all time, and post their posteriors.

We’ll see how that works out, considering the flap over breastfeeding pictures on Facebook!
