Kevin is a 15 year old kid from Sierra Leon. Anyone can look at his situation and say he is: impoverished, lacking or in need… BUT none of these actually describe him.
Kevin is a child prodigy that has made batteries, generators, a radio station and many many many more things – all from the trash. MIT Media Lab invited him to Boston to be a resident technologist. This is his story. It is also the the story of young people all over the world… they are part of a youth movement that can look around them and solve the problems that surround them. Kevin is inspirational… the potential for many more young innovating Kevins is awesome.
