The St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican was the location last week of an art installation organised by humanitarian and environmental groups. The project named “Fiat Lux: Illuminating Our Common Home” was a projection of several National Geographic photographers to highlight the relation of global warming and the projected endangered species. That the art installation was simultaneously with COP21 in Paris was no accident.
The idea comes from National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore who is building a Photo Ark for Animals.
