The film, called Held Hostage, shows young people bound & gagged forced to watch Iraq War. Held Hostage was originally conceived as a television PSA. In addition to the viral film version currently being seen on YouTube, a longer theatrical version is playing on movie screens, and there are two television versions, :60 and :30. All are available free of charge.
Held Hostage was written & directed by filmmaker Curley Johnson, produced by John Beveridge and @Large Films, shot by director of photography Russ Eaton, edited at Mission Control, and sound designed by composer Greg Ives. The cast and crew from the Portland, Orgeon film community volunteered time and effort to help Director Curley Johnson and @Large Films realize their vision to create the film.
