Social Experiment: How do you deal with racist language

Social Experiment: How do you deal with racist language

Do you avoid racist behaviour? Are you afraid of hate speech? These are the basic questions in this social experiment from Lithuania.

The experiment was done to promote the newly launched website (in Lithuanian only). The website is a digital handbook about racism, homophobia and hate speech.

For the experiment the invited real people, not actors, to participate in a casting for an ad. In advance, the organisation gave no information on what the ad would be about. On arrival at the location they people were asked to sit in the waiting room. That’s where the experiment started.

All the people exposed in the video have given permission afterwards. Parents of the child were informed prior the experiment.
