This beautifully shot and edited video from director Eliot Rausch is the story about Tiffany C. Milohov. Or actually the story of Aaron the caregiver, Tiff’s boyfriend.
Tiffany, 28 years old, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2014. She started pretty quick blogging. These were her first lines:
It is so crazy how life can change in an instant! Seriously, I mean, I never would of thought I would be 28 and have cancer. I am still in a fog with it all. In the last 3 weeks so much has happened that I can’t even begin to go into detail with it because it is just so much. I will eventually lay it all out for eyes to see, but for now I just wanted to post my first blog. I am very optimistic with my diagnosis and outlook on life. I am not dying people, just enduring a horrible WOD (for all you non-crossfitters: Workout Of the Day) where I want to quit but can’t until I am done.
A story about cancer is not just about the patient but also family and loved ones. Bausch chose for Aaron and made a very moving story that transcends the disease. It is a love story with all facets. Just like this story about Lincoln and Hilary.
It’s what Eliot Rausch commented on his video with a quote of Thomas Jefferson: “When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on.”
